4:42am: Here's a closer look of the scene at the reported structure fire near the 3100 block of Rivers Ave.
NCFDSC crews are actively working to put out a structure fire. I'm counting four trucks out here and several NCPD cruisers. Rivers Ave is blocked for about a block near Success St.
Around the corner from the shooting in the 2100 block of Apple Valley Rd. shots were fired at a home in the 1900 block of Apple Valley Rd. Richland County Sheriff's Dept. is investigating that incident. Both shootings are related according to investigators.
