An American Airlines plane made an emergency landing at Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport Monday night, according to Tiffany Cherry, communications specialist with GSP. Flight 5139 took off from Omaha, Nebraska just after 6 p.m. and was bound for Charlotte, North Carolina, Cherry said.
